Welcome
A Mountain Village with Character

The village of Chiflik is located in Troyan Municipality, Lovech Province, Bulgaria.
It is situated in north-central Bulgaria, at the foothills of the Balkan Mountains.
The village dates back to the late 16th century.
In the past, the main occupations of the local population were agriculture, livestock farming and various crafts.
In recent years, following the discovery of a mineral water spring, Chiflik has become one of the most visited resorts in Bulgaria.
Chiflik has a rich history connected with some of the most important events in Bulgaria's past.
In the centre of the village stands a monument to Todor Kableshkov and his fellow fighters for Bulgaria's freedom. It was created in 1960 by sculptor Mircho Chukovski, a resident of the village, to commemorate the anniversary of the April Uprising.
In the centre of Chiflik there is also a monument to Nikola Voynovski, who died in the vicinity of Chiflik, in the area known as "Komitski Prisoyki". The monument was created in 1997 by sculptor Ivan Varchev from the village of Kaleytsa.
